Potentiale, EnBW, HMI 2009, Hannover, Germany - FRANKEN\ARCHITEKTEN

The “Potentials” concept for EnBW at the Hannover Messe structure the trade show stand into three different thematic areas, similar to “islands” in an open space concept, which attract and draw in visitors from all sides. The “Smart Factory” allows the business client to experience the concept of 360° energy efficiency in the simulation of a factory. The “Smart Home” lets the consumer take a glance into the house of tomorrow with real equipment and an integrated exhibit to electro-mobility. The world’s greatest energy generator, namely nature, can be experienced in the “Forum Renewable Energy”, with its windmills and interactive “Energy Landscape” telescope panorama. Though interactive panels in all areas, visitors receive information in an entertaining way about how life in the future will change with interconnected efficient energy. The brand architecture becomes an experiential space with atmospheric and inspirational qualities.

Narrative Spaces

Scenography is not confined to
the stage or screen, nor just to presen-tation events and trade shows. It is a design approach, rooted in narrative, that can be applied as well to individual buildings and even to urban environments.
