Reflections

The new spatial principal defining the BMW brand architecture is based on the classical Modern style. By layering horizontal and vertical slabs, a “flowing / open space” is created, which is experienced through individual movement of each visitor. A large-scale horizontal slab encloses the space as a ceiling, thereby creating a generous and spacious but also intimate spacial experience. The premiere cars are architecturally emphasized and highlighted through the spacious central opening in the ceiling and the corresponding material change on the floor.
