Siemens – Inventing the future. Siemens launched its IC5 range of home appliances at the IFA in Berlin under this motto. A futuristically designed structure like a large meteorite which had landed on Earth was at the center of the stand, where the new range of appliances was presented. A ring-shaped ceiling wreath surrounded the meteorite like the gallery of an ancient temple complex.

Rituals create both movement
and meaning in spaces, as with the liturgy and the theatre, linking the real to the abstract. Ritual is the means of inflecting the sublime and the ethereal into a narrative.
