A combination of three different functions result in three separate building volumes - a luxury five-star hotel, a commercial area with retail and restaurants and an office building. The storeys of the podium show slight setbacks which host green gardens. Furthermore, in-between cavities in the building mass become green interstices. The various natural spots interweave into a network of idyllic, partly introvert gardens. The hotel façade receives its characteristics through setbacks of every single guest room. Every single guest will be treated as a unique distinguished person, and the outside façade conveys this gesture. The roof on top of the fourth storey conference utilities has a grand inside and outside leisure area with gardens and a fifty metre long swimming pool.

Scenography is not confined to
the stage or screen, nor just to presen-tation events and trade shows. It is a design approach, rooted in narrative, that can be applied as well to individual buildings and even to urban environments.
